  Job Title:  Child Welfare Social Work Supervisor – In Home and Foster Care Services Location:  Chatham County Department of Social Services Contact Person:  Nancy Burgess Telephone number:  919-642-6905 Address to send application:  Chatham County Human Resources, PO Box 1809, Pittsboro, NC  27312   For printable State of North Carolina Application (PD-107):   Or apply online at:   Job Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support, leadership, and supervision to a team of child welfare social workers in the In Home and Foster Care services unit.  Employee will assess all social work interventions to ensure that they comply with state laws and federal mandates and ensure that children and families receive supportive services and achieve quality outcomes.  This position builds partnerships with community agencies, participates in court proceedings, plans and facilitates the workflow of the unit, shares on-call supervision with other supervisors, and interacts with families being served. Participates on the agency’s management team to facilitate the provision of quality services to clients.  Employee must possess superior organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to quality service provision in all activities.   Minimum Qualifications MSW with 2 years of experience or BSW and 2 years CPS experience CPS Pre-service Training (Mandatory) CPS Intake (Strongly Preferred) Legal and Medical Aspects of CPS (Preferred) Child Development in Families-at-Risk (Preferred) The Effects of Separation and Loss on Attachment (Preferred) Equivalent Training/Experience   Salary Salary grade 67; $56,707   Position Closing Date July 23, 2021 @ 5:00pm   Chatham County is an equal opportunity employer
