CWS Social Work Supervisor

Essential Duties New Hanover County Department of Social Services is seeking experienced a Social Work Supervisor for the Foster Care program.  This position is responsible for supervising the daily performance and activities of social workers.  Duties include assigning and evaluating work; monitoring the progress of assigned cases; processing immediate risk situations to children; making appropriate custody decisions; and reviewing case documentation to ensure adherence to state standards. Supervisory experience and experience working at a department of social services preferred. Must have good driving record and own transportation.   Licenses/Certifications NC Driver's License.   Hours:  8AM-5PM weekdays.  Must be available to work during emergency situations. Compensation The hiring range for this position is $59,846 - $80,792 + a competitive benefits package.  Salary is negotiable within the hiring range, depending on qualifications.
