This hybrid role will keep you on your toes, so goodbye boredom and hello growth!!   We are seeking a diverse Economic Services, On-Site Support Consultant. If you have technical expertise in NCFast, knowledge of Adult Medicaid policies, FNS and a variety of other Economic Services Programs, this challenging opportunity may be the right one for you!  Program and Staff Development is a section within the Economic Services Division that has a goal of creating “High Performing Work Teams.”  We need your help to do this, so apply today!! This  hybrid position has primary focus on:
  • Providing NC FAST coaching support and technical expertise; troubleshooting NC FAST user issues; and training on all automated systems used by staff in the Economic Services Division such as (Work Number, OLV/WIRM, OnBase, SAVE, SharePoint and EBT Edge); coaching staff 
  • Providing training on policy for Adult Medicaid programs, such as, CAP, LTC, PLA, SA, and FNS; in addition to other programs as needed to include, (Child Care, Work First, WF 200% Services, Program Integrity and Energy Assistance programs)
  • Creating practice job aids, FAQs and Error Reports when needed, to support the training and quality goals of the division. Develops and provides policy guidance and training related job aids that allow staff to practice the use of the tools and see results

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years of job-related experience
  • Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Health or a related field
  • Four years or more of current experience working in NCFast and providing case management and income eligibility determination in a State or County Economic Services program unit, such as, Adult Medicaid- LTC, PLA, SA, and CAP or FNS
  • Advanced level experience with NCFAST, OnBase and SharePoint
  • Experience with designing online training and videos
 

How Will We Know You're 'The One'?

  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve NC Fast and OnBase issues
  • Knowledge of Adult Medicaid programs/policy (LTC, PLA, SA, and CAP), and other programs, such as FNS
  • Skilled at operating personal computers and using various software, (Microsoft Office products, internet, web-based skills, etc)
  • The ability to use data to track, monitor, recommend, and implement changes
  • Experience training Case Managers on Adult Medicaid and FNS policy
