Eligibility Specialist Supervisor (Income Maintenance) II

Salary Range: $46,992.87 - $77,538.24 (Compensation negotiable within the salary range for fully qualified applicants.  Salary rates are based on education, skill, and experience level as well as internal equity and market rates.) Are you a highly motivated, self-directed individual with experience in income maintenance/eligibility?  Catawba County Social Services is recruiting, for an Eligibility Specialist (Income Maintenance) Supervisor II for the Family Medicaid Program. In this position, you will provide overall supervision, consultation, direction, and leadership to staff, monitoring and evaluating their performance against pre-established standards and policies. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring program
• Management, supervision, and evaluation of staff
• Staff development
• Customer service

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School plus 3 years of experience as a caseworker or investigator in an income maintenance program (Adult Medicaid, Family Medicaid or Food and Nutrition Services)
• Prefer Family Medicaid knowledge/experience
• Prefer 1 year of supervisory experience in income maintenance

• Strong knowledge and skills in NCFAST and other complex computer systems
