Job Description
This position is responsible for the total process of re-determining client eligibility for Family & Children Medicaid income maintenance programs. Duties include processing and reviewing of information within the guidelines of State policy to determine continued eligibility requirements are met for recipients. Employee will provide information to clients based on the Medicaid Manual. Work includes obtaining required verifications, completing re-certifications as well as maintenance of assigned active caseload. This position involves determining continuing eligibility and maintaining cases for Family & Children Medicaid services. This position may also review cases as assigned by Supervisor |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The Income Maintenance Caseworker would qualify based on education and experience requirements of a 2-year degree from an accredited program in a specific curriculum; or high school plus 2 years paraprofessional/clerical public contact experience (one which must have been in an Income Maintenance Program); or high school plus 3 years paraprofessional/clerical public contact experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
