Job Description

Job Purpose This position is a temporary position providing additional support with Crisis Intervention, Low-Income Emergency Home Energy Assistance program. Within this position the Intake Worker will be interviewing customers to determine eligibility for heating, cooling and emergency assistance. Position is a PT temporary position. Hours may be up to 39 hours per week during peak season. Hours will typically be within a Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m. schedule. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for face-to-face interviews with customers applying for Emergency Assistance Program and Emergency Assistance.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper and appropriate customer service is provided at all times.
  • Responsible for arranging and organizing records, reports, files and other documents into a defined sequence.

Skills & Abilities
 Education & Experience:  A high school diploma or equivalent required. One or more years of customer service experience. Computer Skills:  Basic experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. License/Credentials: Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
