Personnel Tech III

This position functions as the senior position of the personnel unit. Position assures compliance with all pertinent federal, state and county law, ordinances, regulations, policies and procedures.  Provides supervisor consultation, interpretation, advice and support in all matters involving personnel management such as payroll, disciplinary, policy and procedures, performance appraisals, staff development, fair employment practices, design and use of appropriate forms and documents, employee recruitment, benefits and advancement; advice regarding component problems and assist in formulation of new or revised policies, procedures or problem-solving strategies.  This position serves as the Staff Safety Coordinator and Emergency Shelter Management Coordinator.  This position is supervised by the agency director.
