Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
* Provides advanced, professional level casework for children and adults at risk for neglect, abuse, dependency and exploitation.
* Receives, assesses, investigates reports of child and adult neglect, abuse, dependency, and exploitation within established time frames, primarily after regular business hours. (On call)
* Identifies risk and provides safety interventions to children and adults in family and out of home settings.
* Works regularly in the field conducting home visits, conflict courtesy casework and home studies
* Prepares reports and testifies at juvenile court hearings.
* Prepares and maintains ongoing documentation of workload activities.
* Provides referrals and engages community partners.
* Facilitates and conducts Permanency Planning Reviews and Child and Family Team meetings.
* Completes focused quality case reviews.
* Performs other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Masters of Social Work and one year of social work experience.
* Masters degree in counseling or human services field and two years experience in counseling or social work.
* Bachelors in Social Work and two years of social work or counseling experience.
* Bachelor's in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university and three years directly related experience;
*Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years directly related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Criminal Records check, drug screen, and references will be required for candidate hired.
* All applications will be considered but not necessarily interviewed. In lieu of no qualified applicants, trainees will be considered.

* Degrees must be received from accredited institutions.
