- Assist in supportive services to CPS social workers by interviewing collaterals via phone
- Summarizing CPS history on all cases
- Requesting and summarizing records such as law enforcement, medical, mental health and substance use
- Reviewing audio and video evidence and summarizing information in the record
- Completing service referrals/locating needed resources
- Taking families to appointments and screenings and/or taking items to their home
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of social work; or
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related curriculum and 1 year of social work experience; or
- Bachelor’s degree in a non-human services field and 2 years of social work experience
- A valid Driver’s license with a safe driving record
- This is considered light to medium work; lifting up to 40 pounds to carry children and belongings.
- Direct social work experience in child welfare services or similar experiences
- Experience in interviewing others
- Experience in reviewing and summarizing various types of records
- Persons with bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
