Social Worker III – Foster Care Licensing

Person County Government is now recruiting for a Social Worker III in the Child Welfare Services Unit at the Department of Social Services. The primary goals of this worker are to recruit, interview and train potential foster and adoptive parents to care for children in the custody of the agency. Once they are licensed as foster parents, this worker will continue to work with these parents to assure that they meet all standards to maintain their license with the state, provide them with ongoing training and support to ensure the parents are able to meet the overall well-being needs of the children in their care.
