Job Description
| This position provides supervision to Social Worker IAT staff that are responsible for responding to CPS reports alleging abuse, neglect and dependency of children. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that CPS reports are responded to within the required time frames, ensuring that staff understands the requirements of state policy and guidelines, identifying safety of and risk factors to children that have been alleged to be abused, neglected and dependent. This position performs supervision to staff during On-Call for after-hours, weekends and holiday coverage for CPS and disaster related duties and shelter openings. Employee must have knowledge of behavior and socioeconomic problems, knowledge of the laws, regulations and policies which govern social work programs. Ability to supervise, train, or orient lower-level social workers. Have ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively. Must upload transcript(s). |
