The primary purpose of this position is to recruit potential foster parents/resource families for children and youth in foster care who are in need of permanent homes and to coordinate compliance of all technical aspects of foster home licensing under the guidelines provided by the State Department of Social Services.
Essential Functions of the position:
- Recruit potential Foster Parents/Families and Adoptive Parents for children and youth in foster care.
- Facilitate assessment and training for parents/families to ensure licensure per State requirements.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance of all technical aspects of foster home licensing under the guidelines provided by the State Department of Social Services.
Position requires flexibility to work some after hours and weekend hours as needed based on program needs.
Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution; bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
