Job Description
The Family & Children Medicaid (FCMA) Supervisor provides supervision and administrative oversight of the daily activities of eligibility case workers in the Family and Children Medicaid Program. Bring your FCMA expertise, and lead this team to work closely with the community they are serving.
This is a time-limited benefits eligible position expected to last through June 2024. Wake County will reassess and extend these positions based upon availability of funding and business need. You get 5% towards your 401K too!
Primary duties include:
- Creating and maintaining a work environment with open communication, team work and excellent customer service with the team and other staff
- Sharing knowledge of all facets of the program, and all available resources with staff
- Ensuring that work generated by staff is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Completing case reviews and document findings in appropriate databases to document the accuracy of work being performed by staff
- Communicating to staff any issues, policies or changes that influence job responsibilities and case management practices
- Supervising personnel by performing yearly evaluations, interviewing and hiring staff, and resolving personnel issues whenever warranted
- Serving on the management team and attending meetingsÂ
