Processing Assistant IV – Clerical

Person County Government is now recruiting for two Processing Assistant IV positions in the Clerical Unit of the Department of Social Services. The Processing Assistant IV assigned to the Clerical unit is responsible for routing clients to proper workers either by telephone or office visits; setting up, maintaining, filing and/or scanning information for records within the Income Maintenance and Service Units, keying information into State and local computer systems, maintaining and processing State and County reports, issuing work permits and fishing license waivers, inquiring about voter registration, explaining applicants' right to apply for services; and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
