Social Work Supervisor II

Position will be responsible for supervision and coordination of Child Protective Services (CPS) Team VII.  Includes direct supervision of the Intake Unit and Social Work staff who receive and process reports of alleged child abuse, neglect, and/or dependency of children and receive Adult Services reports involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation of disabled adults.  Position is responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) Services for all Child Welfare Programs.  Position will directly monitor Child Welfare cases from all programs (e.g. Investigations/Assessments, In-Home Services, Out-of-Home/Foster Care Services, Adoptions, and LINKS) applying state/federal/local policies to ensure casework is in compliance with all requirements. Position will counsel and advise other Child Welfare staff, monitor findings, and address any deficiencies identified. Will work with staff to ensure the agency is up-to-date on all state mandated Child Welfare policy requirements.  Will integrate, and provide orientation, to all newly hired Child Welfare staff ensuring compliance with state-mandated training requirements.    Will rotate supervisory on-call duties with all other Child Welfare Social Work Supervisors. Position reports to the Program Manager, Program Administrator, and Director.  Other work may be assigned by management as needed.
