Job Description
This social work position is critical to the agency in providing Foster Care placement and link services for kids aging out of Foster Care ages 16-21. The social worker in this position will demonstrate a knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices, and their application to complex casework, group work and community problems. Be knowledgeable of a wide range of behavioral and psycho-social problems and their treatment. Ensure that services provided follow State, and Federal policies governing Foster Care/Placement and Adoption Services. Demonstrate an ability to express ideas clearly and concisely and to plan and execute work effectively. This position is also responsible for On-Call duty for after hours, weekends, holidays and Disaster Duty is also an essential function of this position. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum Education and Experience -
Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work; or Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative; or Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and one year directly related experience; or Master's degree in a human services field and one year of directly related experience; or Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and two years directly related experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related experience. |
