Job Description
Join this dedicated team of professionals in Child Welfare, as a CPS Supervisor (In- Home), who enable parents to provide safe and nurturing environments for their children, when a case is closed.
Primary responsibilities are:
- Directly supervising at least five (5) Child Protective Services In-Home staff
- Providing oversight and decision-making on accepted CPS reports and in-home service caseloads
- Assigning cases of new referrals for service
- Consulting and meeting with staff individually and in a team setting to make case decisions and assess families’ progress per policy and state laws
- Participating in all assessment and in-home case decision meetings and assisting staff in the development of findings to support the filing of petitions and helping prepare staff for testifying in the Juvenile Court
- Conducting interviews with staff to review their direct interventions with families and their documentation
- Identifying ways to assist workers with keeping up with statutes: state and county policies and protocols, etc.
