Processing Assistant IV – Self Sufficiency

Person County Government is now recruiting for a part-time Processing Assistant IV for the Department of Social Services. The purpose of this position is to assist the Service Intake Social Workers. This worker coordinates arrangements for Medicaid Transportation for eligible recipients by utilizing the county coordinated transportation services, taxi services or gas vouchers. The worker is responsible for reconciling monthly bills from the vendors used to provide transportation assistance. Monthly reports are completed and submitted to the state for reimbursement purposes. The worker assists the social workers with tracking necessary information to maintain compliance with state Medicaid Transportation Policy.
