JOB TITLE: Social Worker Supervisor III – On Call DEPARTMENT: Social Services SALARY: Based on Experience CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION: November 18, 2022 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking candidate to build, retain and lead the newly created Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigations and Family Assessments on call team. You will be part of a diverse department that envisions better health, safety, and well-being for all. The primary purpose of the On Call Supervisor, is to lead a dynamic staff of social workers advocating for those most vulnerable, providing child protective services, outlined by federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and policies, while also respecting their right to self-determination. MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - Master's degree from an accredited school of social work and two years of social work or counseling experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited school of social work and three years of social work or counseling experience; or a master's degree in a counseling field and three years of social work or counseling experience; or four-year degree in a human services field or related curriculum including at least 15 semester hours in courses related to social work or counseling and four years of social work or counseling; or graduation from a four-year college or university and five years of experience in rehabilitation counseling, pastoral counseling, or a related human services field providing experience in the techniques of casework, group work, or community organization; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The position is an exempt, full-time position. Standard agency hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, 2PM to 11PM. (In Office and Work from Home hours available to cover on-call overnight hours). A verbal Spanish test will be given if applicant lists Spanish as a second language.
