Job Description
Do you want to assist in supporting and strengthening families in Wake County? The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) section of Child Welfare supports staff who provide direct care and case management, to strengthen families.
We are searching for a resilient and creative professional with the talent and experience to coach, support, and provide technical assistance to our Child Welfare staff as a Child Welfare On-Site Support Consultant. The successful candidate will apply policy and practices in adherence and alignment with the CQI core values of psychological, safety, inclusiveness, integrity, and transparency.
Primary duties involve:
- Developing and delivering coaching for new and existing staff, through formal and informal delivery, remote support, over-the-shoulder (in-person) and virtual observation and instruction
- Creating practice job aids, FAQs, and tips/tricks through engagement and modification of existing tools when needed as system and policy changes; developing and providing policy guidance, technical assistance, and training related to practice support using multiple forms of technology
- Assessing strengths, trends, and concerns through practice support activities; communicating with CQI Team and CQI Manager about trends; incorporating their feedback, and continuously evaluating processes to improve delivery of support
- Reviewing assigned Child Welfare protocols. Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to revise and update language in protocols. Making recommendations for additions and eliminations of protocols as needed, and tracking progress
